Our funny, silly and always friendly, coach Perry! He was our very first member and never left our side. He's been coaching for a few years now and he is one of the best we have. He has a lot of knowledge and always strives to help people to move better.

How did you start CrossFit?
A guy who looked like a hooligan (now like a pirate, for those of you who don't know... it's Jarno) convinced me it would make my dreams come true.

What’s up with @Perrydoingthings?
Hahahah my agency and i am planning to start doing business with big brands;)

What are your favorite CrossFit movements?
Burpees and running, when i am coaching.

You have been coaching for 3 years, what do you love most about your job?
Making people say stuff 3 times. And the happiness of people after a good workout and their progressions with all the funny talks.

Is there something you want to learn or get better at?
Yes, I need new jokes ;)
and you can always be a better coach and learn new stuff in that field, but that's part of the job.

And I am trying to find new hobbies, but that’s frikkin hard because Crossfit and strength training is so cool.

Tell us about your history in sport and nutrition.
Well I wanted to do kickboxing, but was not allowed by my parents. So then I tried Judo, but did not like it.
Then I wanted to do Rugby, but it was not possible. I did soccer, but did not like it.
Ooooooh and I did athletics for a while, that was ok.
Then I struggled with sport, because of puberty.
Then I screwed up my body with diet and running.
Bad story I know, so I picked myself together and started to do some research. That brought me in a whole new roller coaster.

Worked in a health shop with supplements and superfoods, went to america for a short study (Hippocrates Institute), then met the hooligan and now I'm here.
Man, only thinking about everything puts chaos in my mind. Next question!

What is your favorite quote?
3 times!

Tell us your best joke
3 times! For those who don’t know how that goes. I always try to make people repeat what they said 3 times in a row and if they do I’ll shout “3 TIMES!!!”. Makes me laugh every single time.

Who is your favorite CrossFit athlete and why?
Dustin Fergus! Old as f*ck, but still fit and in for a party!
